Weekly Meeting The Rotary Club of Metro Iloilo meets every Tuesday noon at Sarabia Manor Hotel and Convention Center, General Luna St., Iloilo City, Philippines. Awards The club has been consistently among the top clubs in District 3850. Aside from the service awards it has won, it has won for several times the most coveted awards: the Outstanding Club and the Outstanding Club President in the district. Rotary Foundation Contributors Over the years, the club has produced one benefactor, 53 Paul Harris Fellows and 60 Rotary Foundation Sustaining members. Past Officers In its twenty years of existence, the club has produced one district governor. The past presidents of the club function as an advisory council for the current administration. Extension Clubs & Sister Clubs From 1987 to 1997, the club has extended five new Rotary Clubs in the district. Close ties are maintained with twenty-one sister clubs. Eighteen of these clubs all Metro clubs in the Philippines where a national sportsfest being held yearly among them. Rotaract Club of Metro Iloilo The club is currently organizing a school-based Rotaract Club at St. Paul University, Iloilo City. Interact Club of Metro Iloilo A school-based Interact Club from Iloilo Central Commercial High School is actively participating in some of the club's community projects. |
